Filter Belts

The Task:

Continuous filtration process for use in separating solids from fluids.

The Solution:

For filtration purposes ContiTech vacuum filter belts form a continuously revolving trough for placement of a filter cloth and the suspension. It is also capable of being employed for water, lye or acid baths. While the suspension is conveyed its fluid content passes through the filter cloth into the belt’s traverse grooves. The filtrate is drained off via a longitudinally positioned vacuum box and a defined belt perforation. The predried filter cake is shed on the bend pulley.
