Underground conveyor belt for a conveyor system with an hourly volumetric flow of 2,400 tons, used in the Primsmulde shaft of the Saar mine.

The Solution:

High-strength PVG 2001 textile belts with a width of 1400 mm. The belt carcass and 2.5- to 6-meter rubber covers have been impregnated with PVC for added strength. The belts meet the special requirements of underground mining. ContiTech supplies 40 belt lengths of 216 meters each as twin reel, thereby equipping a distance of 8650 meters.
