Transport of up to 400 metric tons of limestone through a nature preserve. A stipulation for the layout of the haulage route was to stick to existing routes and curves.

The Solution:

An economical long-flight conveyor unit with a center distance of 1890 meters with a curve-going EP fabric conveyor belt. By eliminating the belt overlap zones, it was possible to reduce noise and dust buildup. The transport of 400 t/h is accomplished by an 800-mm-wide CONTIFLEX® EP 630/4 conveyor belt. The belt tensions occurring in the different sections were accurately calculated in advance by the CONTICOM program.
