Hose Lines for Fuel Systems
Fuel Hoses for Extremely Powerful Engines
Our fuel hoses and hose lines – such as, for example, those for extremely powerful turbocharged DI engines – offer a wider margin of safety thanks to their flame retardancy and can be used over a wide temperature range (-40° to +150°C).
They boast high resistance to aggressive fuels and adherence to defined push-on and pull-off forces.
The Product Range Encompasses:
- Injection pump strips
- Connecting lines
- Fuel rails

RME-Resistant Fuel Lines for Passenger Cars
For some time now, renewable raw materials have been mixed into diesel fuels. Admixtures of up to 55 RME/PME (rape seed methyl ester/plant methyl ester) are allowed by law in petroleum-based diesel fuels. An RME content of up to 10% is under discussion. To be sure, RME has shown itself to be a more aggressive substance than mineral diesel.
To get around this problem in the case of fuel hoses and hose lines used in cars, ContiTech Fluid Technology employs modern three-dimensional crosslinked fluoroelastomer materials (FPM-FPM) that are suitable for use with RME/fuel blends over a very wide temperature range of -40° to over 200°C. These materials do not pose any serious problem at current mix ratios nor at the higher values that may well be employed in the future.

Hoses and Hose Lines
For Diesel Particulate Filter Systems
The various material combinations give the hose lines resistance to sustained temperatures as high as 225°.
Different wrappings or tensile members also make the ContiTech hose a solution perfectly matched to every requirement,
be it with heat protection from radiation heat or chafing protection for particularly tight clearances.

Solutions for Commercial Vehicles:
stainless Steel Lines with PTE Corrugated Hose.
PTFEW lines made from stainless steel are especially temperature resistant. The corrugated hose gives the lines the flexibility needed for installation in compact commercial-vehicle engine compartments. The material is resistant to RME inside and out. And since no brazing is involved in shaping the hoses, the problem of leaky joints is avoided.

Solutions for Commercial Vehicles: PAH Lines
The commercial vehicle industry is demanding that suppliers comply with ever more stringent requirements. Minimal engine
clearances call for plastic lines with narrow bending radii and maximum flexibility. Metal lines are no longer capable of
satisfying these specifications as they cannot absorb the vibrations occurring when an engine is operating. There is a high risk of their breaking.
