Special Applications

ContiTech Elastomer Coatings develops and manufactures three-dimensional products made of elastomercoated materials and elastomer sheetings, also in combination with molded rubber or metal parts. Industrial products and elastomer sheetings take on sophisticated and often individual tasks for which there are mostly no other alternatives: sealing, protecting, connecting, storing, transporting. Often, they directly provide for the protection of humans and environment. New application fields are constantly developing.

Systems expertise from material development through to product manufacturing

Materials and components adapted to provide the required product characteristics:

Sheetings made of a wide range of rubber types, from 0.1 to 10 mm thick.

Coated fabrics made of elastomer-coated materials from 0.1 mm to 3 mm thick – as a combination of our own elastomer compounds with reinforcement materials made of textiles or metal.

Molded parts made of rubber, metal, or rubber-to-metal bonds for independent processing.

Rubber solutions based on our own elastomer compounds, adjusted to the individual applications.

We fabricate our products using hot vulcanization as well as bonding processes to ensure strong, dynamic seams that do not leak.
