The new tool box from the ContiTech Power Transmission Group provides professional support in changing timing belts, especially for Asian vehicles. The CONTI® TOOL BOX ASIAN CARS is now available at specialist dealers. It contains 26 mounting tools such as a setting gage for the camshaft, various setpins/locking pins and arrestors. This new set furnishes what is needed to change timing belts safely and professionally on the most common Asian cars. It is conceived as an ideal complement to the CONTI® TOOL BOX. You will find an overview of all the individual tools in the CONTI® TOOL BOX ASIAN CARS and their application areas in the new brochure for the tool box. Asian makes and models account for a growing share of what is offered on the global vehicle market. This vehicle segment is thus also increasingly important for the automotive aftermarket. “Nearly 20 percent of the vehicles on Europe’s roads are meanwhile Asian, and Asian manufacturers already control over 30 percent of worldwide car production – with those percentages increasing all the time. Consequently, the importance of spare parts and mounting tools specifically for these vehicles is also growing,” says Markus Pirsch, head of the ContiTech Power Transmission Group’s Marketing Service.
