Concertina wall with graffiti protection

ContiTech Elastomer Coatings presents the new generation of translucent concertina walls for articulated buses. Thanks to a newly developed anti-stick material, the concertina wall is now also resistant to course dirt and graffiti. This means that fewer cleaning processes are required and aggressive cleaning agents are no longer need.

Bus drivers and passengers can expect even more comfort. The translucent characteristic provides a special light refraction, thus intensifying the degree of brightness. Thanks to a new design – including cable ducts at the top for air conditioning or heating hoses – the concertina wall module can now be adapted more flexibly to the various requirements of bus manufacturers. At IAA Commercial Vehicles ContiTech showcased the second generation of translucent concertina walls for the first time.

In practice, the module with its unique transparent property has proven its worth, for instance in Paris.
