Successful Fiscal Year 2012: ContiTech Continues Growth Trend

In the past business year, ContiTech posted sales of €3.7 billion, representing a 3.6% increase. Its EBIT improved substantially compared with 2011, rising from €417 million to €442 million.

ContiTech boosted its position considerably last year by making numerous acquisitions and constructing new plants. A total of €151 million was invested, up more than €40 million on 2011.

The good business results also had a positive impact on the workforce numbers. At the end of the year, ContiTech had 28,210 employees – 960 more than in the prior year.
